It's been an incredible year for Bethany and her fiancé Ethan.  Bethany has continued with her work at Family Service Agency in Burbank and began co-coordinating the Burbank Middle School Therapy Program in three middle schools.  She finished an intense thesis and graduated with her Masters in Psychology with a specialization in Art Therapy.  She started with her first private practice clients and was offered the amazing opportunity to become a professor at Phillips and also become the Art Therapy Practicum Course Chair. 

Bethany's Grandmother, Eleanor Cecelia Kleinheksel, passed away on Friday, July 9, 2004 in Hackley Hospital at the age of 93.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerrold Kleinheksel, in 1993.  Bethany felt that she was a most loving, giving and absolutely wonderful Grandmother.

Bethany's fiancé Ethan worked for President and Mrs. Reagan since 2001.  His life changed on June 5th when the President passed away.  The following week, he worked longer days (and nights) than he had ever thought possible, and on June 11th, he and Bethany were fortunate to be at the Reagan Library for the President's interment ceremony.  With the passing of the President, his job with the Reagan's was completed, as the Office of Ronald Reagan was closed.

Ethan felt that he had been blessed to work for the Reagan's, and especially blessed to have worked with such amazing people.  In January, he will begin working for a company called Platinum Equity in Beverly Hills, and is excited about the new opportunities that lie ahead.  He has only two semesters of law school left, and will finish in December of 2005. 

Bethany and Ethan are currently engaged with plans to marry in the third quarter of 2005.
